Currently resides in Aleppo, Syria, where he started painting during his teens at the Sarian academy during the 1960s.  He is greatly influenced by the world renowned artist Carzou who considered him a talent.  His works are watercolor and ink and his themes run around the neighborhoods of Aleppo with its old narrow streets, to villages, to the streets of Paris and public parks.
